Delete your ExitWise data
ExitWise has no accounts: we never ask for your name, email or contacts. Here is how to delete what the game does keep, and what happens to it.
How to delete your data
- Play statistics: in the game, open Settings and tap Statistics until it says off. From then on nothing is collected or sent, and the game immediately deletes its random install ID and any statistics still waiting on your phone.
- Your progress: it is saved only on your phone. Uninstalling the game deletes it (or Android Settings → Apps → ExitWise → Storage → Clear storage). If Android backup is on, Android may also keep an encrypted copy in your own Google account (we never see it): delete it in Android Settings → Google → Backup, or in Google One → Storage → Device backup.
- Anything else, or if you need help: email banellostudio@proton.me with the subject "Delete my ExitWise data". We answer within 30 days.
What is deleted and what is kept
- Install ID and statistics waiting on your phone: deleted at once when you switch Statistics off.
- Statistics already sent (which levels you played, moves, hints, skips): they are linked only to the random install ID, never to your name, so they can't be traced back to you. Google Analytics deletes them automatically after 14 months.
- Game progress, settings and hats: on your phone, and in your own Google account if Android backup is on; deleted when you uninstall or clear storage (the backup copy: in your Google account).
- Ads (only when you choose to watch one): handled by Google AdMob. Change your choice in the game under Settings → Ad privacy choices, and reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads. Google's own controls: My Ad Center.
- Purchases: Google Play keeps the record of your purchase (needed for refunds and taxes); we never see your payment details.
